Gisborne Optical Centre uses the HICAPS service. If you are a member of a private health fund you may be eligible to claim your optical benefits at the time of collecting your glasses or contact lenses.
Simply bring in your health fund provider card for swiping through the electronic claims terminal. If eligible, your health fund will pay towards your purchase, and then you only pay the remaining balance.
This is a quick, easy and convenient way of claiming your optical benefits on the spot.
